The Vero Open Water 41 Daybreak watch is dubbed “the slimmest dive watch” on the market, but there’s more that I’m sure you’ll love.

Created by Vero, the Open Water 41 Daybreak is one of their sleekest, most simple watches.

It was the one that caught my attention, and it was the one I wanted.

The more I looked into the watch, the more I wanted it.

Well, fast-forward to today, and I have the watch in my possession.

I have worn it, messed around with it, and seen how others reacted.

Now that all that is done, I’m happy to share my thoughts with a Vero Open Water 41 Daybreak watch review so that you can decide for yourself if this is a worthwhile investment.

Overall Experience and Decision

Overall, I am super satisfied with everything about the Vero Open Water 41 Daybreak Watch.

I got the orange one, even if I’m not typically an orange kinda guy.

I don’t know what it was about this specific watch, but it caught my attention when I discovered it online.

From there, I did more research and started to fall in love with the watch even more.

So, of course, I decided that this was the watch I wanted compared to the thousands of other watches out there.

I know, it sounds crazy, but everything drew me to this specific watch.

Why?

Let’s see what made me like this specific watch so much.

Specs and Unboxing

The Vero Open Water Daybreak watch itself felt amazing.

It has a good weight to it, and it looked exactly the way I expected it to look.

It had no blemishes, the paint was pristine, and it functioned like any automatic watch.

The packaging was also great, just like you would find in Apple and other tech giants.

I mean, the packaging alone is what makes most products stand out anyway.

The watch has a matte bead-blasted stainless steel finish and comes in different colors.

Of course, I got the orange one, and I am very pleased with my decision.

The watch has a DLC 60-click unidirectional (one-way) bezel and can be submerged to about 200m.

I probably won’t be going down that far underwater, nor do I plan to swim with it, so I can’t give you much feedback in that department.

Besides that, it’s a sleek watch with lots to love.

This Watch Turns Heads

I usually wear my Apple Watch, but of course, no one really cares about it.

Now, when I wore the Vero Open Water Daybreak, I definitely had some interested humans.

I literally went to get some work done at a coffee shop without a watch and got the most mediocre treatment possible.

I went back the following day with the same barista, but this time with the Daybreak watch and things were a lot different.

Call him shallow or whatever, but I know it was the watch that made the difference.

The watch looks amazing, and even after a few weeks of use, I’m still blown away by its beauty.

Quality

If you’re not into watches that much, you won’t notice any key indicators of what makes a quality watch.

And that’s okay.

That’s why you have professional nerds who love everything about watches and can tell you if a watch is worth anything.

I didn’t necessarily go to one, but I did bring it into a watch shop to get it resized.

I wasn’t very happy to hear that it would cost me $25 to get the job done, but I was a bit pleased when I was told it was because it was a Swiss watch.

I was like, “Okay, I like that news, but I will definitely take it elsewhere.”

Knowing I had a quality watch in my possession was great, but I eventually took it to get it resized for the $5 I’m used to spending.

Features

As mentioned earlier in this review, the watch is a unidirectional bezel, and it is automatic.

All this means is that the bezel only turns one way, and the watch works through movement.

Typically, automatic watches can be wound, but most I’ve seen or owned start working the minute (no pun intended) the watch is picked up.

The crown also screws down and requires to be unscrewed to make adjustments to the time.

All the white parts of the watch glow in the dark and the band is made from matte bead blasted stainless steel.

It’s also very simple to use and can use other watch bands if you plan on switching that out.

Price & Warranty

To get your wrists on the Vero Open Water 41 Daybreak watch, it is going to cost you $875.

With that price, you can expect some fantastic customer service and a very solid product.

It took me less than a week to get the watch, and Vero’s customer service is one of the best I’ve ever experienced.

These days, customer service isn’t the greatest no matter where you go, and it doesn’t get any better when you’re dealing with them online.

With Vero, you can expect the type of service you would expect after spending almost a thousand dollars on a product.

On top of that, Vero offers a 10-year warranty that protects the watch from any damage.

Past that, they still offer service and support to ensure your watch is operating at its best.

Is the Vero Open Water 41 Daybreak Watch Worth it?

Definitely!

I am satisfied with everything I’ve dealt with, including customer service and shipping, and I’m satisfied with the watch itself.

If you’re in the market for a new watch and you want something that can literally change your life, the Vero Open Water 41 Daybreak watch might just be your guy.

It’s a nice piece to add to your collection but I find this to be one of my favorite EDC watches.

It might be a little on the high-end side, but I love the way it feels.

I am wearing it right now, and I find myself reaching for this watch when I head out.
